Discovery of enzymes with high catalytic efficiency is both critical and challenging due to the vast search space of potential candidates. Traditional approaches, such as directed evolution or homology searches across extensive protein databases, require the screening of thousands of candidates, making the process time-consuming and resource-intensive (1).
