I'm a versatile web editor and sports journalist; sports history devotee; author of women's sports e-book, Beyond Title IX; former print and online journalist at Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

In my current work I am a senior writer at Blue Star Media, a newly launched site that I helped develop and that is devoted to youth, grassroots, college and international basketball.

I am a longtime contributor to Basketball Times, a monthly magazine that focuses on college basketball.

At The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, I specialized in reporting of college and women's athletics, soccer and the Olympics. My beats included ACC/SEC football and basketball, Women's Final Four, men's and women's World Cup soccer.

I am particularly interested in examining the intersection between gender, culture and sports, and what I write about often is at odds with the Title IX and women's sports establishment.

Among my more recent interests I am writing about include sports business, media and marketing, sports history and sports books.
