Effects of seven traditional Chinese sports on physiological outcomes in individuals receiving treatment for substance use disorder: a network meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials
Abstract Background Substance use disorder is a major public health challenge, with physiological consequences, including dysregulated blood pressure, abnormal heart rate, and altered body composition, which increase the risk of cardiovascular disease and mortality. Physical exercise shows rehabilitation potential, but evidence-based guidance on optimal traditional Chinese exercise regimens is lacking.
Muscle fiber types in mutton: implications for meat quality and flavor formation—a review
Abstract Mutton quality and flavor are closely associated with muscle fiber type composition. This review summarizes muscle fiber classification, mutton flavor formation pathways, and the effects of muscle fiber types on color, pH, tenderness, juiciness, and flavor compounds. It also discusses how genotype, age, sex, feeding practices, and nutrition regulate mutton quality through muscle fiber transformation, providing references for high-quality mutton production.
TRIM21-dependent ubiquitination of MCCase induced by hsa_circ_0009061 drives H3K36 crotonylation to suppress epithelial ovarian cancer progression through regulating glycolysis
Abstract Histone lysine crotonylation plays a pivotal role in gene transcription in diseases. However, the relationship between its levels and epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) peritoneal metastasis remains unclear. Here, we report that the circular RNA hsa_circ_0009061 is crucial for 3-Methylcrotonyl-CoA carboxylase (MCCase)-mediated lysine crotonylation and glycolysis. Hsa_circ_0009061 acts as a tumor suppressor and inhibits EOC metastasis as well as glycolysis.
Novel adaptive fixed-time synchronization for fractional-order uncertain Hopfield neural networks with proportional delays of unbounded nature
Abstract The fixed-time synchronization of fractional-order uncertain Hopfield neural networks (FOUHNNs) with proportional delays is investigated in this paper. Proportional delays, unlike constant or bounded variable delays, are time-varying and unbounded, thereby posing challenges to the synchronization control of fractional master-slave systems.
A novel bispecific antibody targeting Frizzled7/PD-L1 overcomes NSCLC resistance to atezolizumab by reprogramming tumor microenvironment
Abstract Immunotherapy efficacy in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) remains limited, and aberrant activation of the Wnt/β‑Catenin pathway plays a significant role. However, the precise involvement of its receptor, Frizzled7 (Fzd7), in immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI)-resistance remains unexplored.
Study on the construction of a model for particle size distribution of coal fines in the full wellbore of coalbed methane wells
Abstract During the drainage process of coalbed methane wells in the Panhe Block of the Qinshui Basin, severe coal fines production restricts productivity release. This study aims to systematically elucidate the vertical distribution patterns of coal fines particle sizes within the wellbore, providing a basis for quantitative optimization of drainage systems.
Reversible Exfoliation-Aggregation Dynamics in Ionic COFs for Tunable Interfacial Catalysis
1 Introduction Heterogeneous functional materials are among the most widely utilized platforms in catalysis, adsorption, and mass transfer, offering advantages such as high selectivity, extended lifetime, tunable structures, robust stability, environmental tolerance, and potential for recyclability [1-7]. These materials are also compatible with diverse energy input modalities, including light, electricity, and heat [8-17].
The association between obstructive sleep apnea and total cerebral small vessel disease burden—Neurovascular insights of OSA
Abstract Objective: This study was conducted to assess the relationship between the severity of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and the total burden score of cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD), global cerebral blood flow (CBF), and cognitive function. Moreover, the internal pathway through which OSA induces cognitive impairment by affecting cerebral perfusion, and overall cerebral small vessel lesions was determined in this study.

Mechanism and application of Taq DNA polymerase in TaqMan qPCR
Abstract TaqMan quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR) is widely used in molecular biology due to its high specificity, sensitivity, and multiplexing capability. Taq DNA polymerase (Taq pol) plays a central role by simultaneously catalyzing DNA synthesis and cleaving fluorogenic probes, yet the mechanistic interplay between these activities remains incompletely characterized. We systematically quantified Taq pol nuclease and polymerase activities during extension and probe cleavage.
Shared subcortical–default mode morphological dysconnectivity in adolescent bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder and schizophrenia
Abstract Adolescence is a critical window of vulnerability to psychiatric disorders, yet transdiagnostic network abnormalities remain poorly characterized at this stage. Here, we compare single-subject morphological brain networks in 61 adolescents with bipolar disorder (BD), 73 with major depressive disorder (MDD), 55 with schizophrenia (SCH), and 181 healthy controls.
A framework for the exploration of subcellular compartmentalization of RNA-binding proteins
|
Abstract The ability of RNA-binding proteins to form complexes with other biomolecules underpins a broad range of structural properties and functions. Understanding the subcellular distribution of RNA-binding proteins and their interacting partners in the steady state and upon perturbation can therefore shed light on these aspects.

Abstract Distinguishing histological subtypes of early pregnancy loss is crucial for clinical practice. Current gold standards combining pathological and molecular profiling are costly, limiting implementation. We developed a patch-to-slide fusion artificial intelligence (AI) model with adaptive masking to predict histological diagnosis.

Cryo-EM structure of a photosystem I supercomplex from Euglena gracilis containing pentameric LHCE and dimeric LHCII
Abstract Euglenophyta is a representative phylum of green-lineage secondary endosymbiotic eukaryotes. These organisms have evolved far-red light-harvesting complexes (LHCs) composed of diadinoxanthin and chlorophyll a/b, which are now classified as the LHCE family. Here we report a 2.35-Å cryo-electron microscopy structure of photosystem I (PSI) supercomplex from Euglena gracilis, with all subunits and their paralogs assigned.
A pipeline leakage detection method for boiler energy operation system using enhanced SVM-based acoustic emission technology - Scientific Reports
Abstract Pipeline leakage detection in boiler energy systems is essential for operational safety and efficiency, yet conventional techniques such as pressure-based and mass-balance methods often lack real-time performance and sensitivity to small leaks. Although acoustic emission (AE) technology offers dynamic, non-destructive monitoring, its practical application is hindered by noise interference and limited training samples under industrial conditions.
Deep learning-based suppression of cold reflections in infrared systems
This study proposes a deep learning-based method to suppress cold reflection artifacts in cooled mid-wave infrared imaging systems. First, a mid-wave infrared optical system is designed, followed by a cold reflection simulation using the Narcissus macro. Second, an equivalent temperature difference superposition method is adopted to generate synthetic infrared images with cold reflection patterns, thereby establishing a multi-scene dataset.
A feedback regulatory loop by MAPK–CCA1 engages auxin signalling to stimulate root foraging for nitrate - Nature Plants
Abstract In eucaryotes, mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) cascades are evolutionarily conserved signalling modules crucial for growth regulation and stress tolerance. However, the regulatory role of MAPK in nutrient sensing by plants remains largely unclear. Here we uncovered MEKK14 and its paralogue MEKK13 determine lateral root elongation via enhanced cell division and expansion.
