1 Introduction As a fundamental discipline in biodiversity studies, taxonomy plays a crucial role in elucidating the origins and evolution of life, assessing endangered species, and monitoring ecosystem changes (Steinicke 2014). Traditional taxonomy primarily relies on morphological, anatomical, and physiological characteristics to classify species into taxonomic ranks (Simpson 1961).
