Underwater scattering and attenuation degrade image appearance and make cost-volume evidence spatially unreliable in a depth- and medium-dependent manner. We propose UWStereo-Diff, a physics-guided cascaded framework for reliability-aware cost-volume refinement. It uses an initial disparity prior to estimate depth-dependent optical parameters, restore stereo-relevant structures, reconstruct the cost volume, and refine it through transmission-guided diffusion.
