Abstract This paper proposes a new hybrid interleaved parallel boost converter based on coupling inductor and switching capacitor, suitable for renewable energy systems. This converter achieves higher voltage gain and continuous input. The two switch are controlled by interleaved driving method, which effectively reduces the current ripple on the input side. The passive clamp circuit absorbs leakage inductance energy, thereby suppressing voltage spikes on the switch.
