Yael L. Maxwell’s Biography

Yael L. Maxwell is Senior Associate News Editor of TCTMD and Senior Medical Writer and Editor in the Editorial Services Department of the Cardiovascular Research Foundation in New York City. She covers interventional cardiology research published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at large conferences such as ACC, AHA, TCT, ESC, and EuroPCR. She also interviews important figures in the field on-camera in meeting “wrap-up” videos and is the editor of Fellows Forum--a resource for interventional cardiology fellows and those who train them. Her freelance work has appeared in ScienceNOW, Refinery29, and mental_floss, and she is currently serving as the Center for Health, Media & Policy's first media fellow.
