Teosinte alleles enhance nitrogen assimilation and seed protein in maize
Abstract During maize (Zea mays L.) domestication, seed protein content sharply declined1,2. In plants, glutamine and asparagine levels are closely correlated with protein content3,4. Asparagine is synthesized from glutamine, a process catalysed by asparagine synthase5. Teosinte harbours a superior haplotype of asparagine synthase 4 (ASN4)2. Here, we report that teosinte also possesses a superior haplotype gene promoting glutamine synthesis.

A Case Report of HIV‐Associated Pituitary Lymphoma and Review of the Literature
1 Introduction Central nervous system (CNS) lymphoma is a rare disease, accounting for about 3%–4% of newly diagnosed CNS tumors [1]. It occurs in a variety of anatomical regions, including the basal ganglia, thalamus, corpus callosum and periventricular white matter. However, hypothalamus involvement is rare [2]. Primary pituitary lymphoma is extremely rare. Of 1120 patients with transsphenoidal surgery for saddle region masses, only one (0.1%) was reported to have primary pituitary lymphoma [3].

One‐Step Approach for Constructing High‐Density Single‐Atom Catalysts toward Overall Water Splitting at Industrial Current Densities
Graphical Abstract Here, a catalyst containing high-density Pt and Ir single atoms anchored on Co(OH)2 was prepared by a one-step approach, and required only 4 and 178 mV at 10 mA cm−2 for hydrogen evolution reaction and oxygen evolution reaction, respectively, close to the world record level. Mechanistic studies revealed that reconstructed Ir−O6 single atoms and remodeled Pt triple-atom sites play key roles in water splitting.
