Machine Learning-Based Screening of Optimal miRNA Targets Enabled by a Cytosolic Delivery Carrier for Augmenting Cancer Therapy
1 Introduction The initiation and progression of cancer are fundamentally driven by genetic alterations or mutations, often involving the simultaneous activation of multiple signaling pathways, including Wnt/β-catenin, PI3K/AKT/mTOR, NOTCH pathways, etc [1-7]. As a result, multi-target drug therapies offer a more effective strategy than monotherapies that act on a single pathway, especially in addressing the multifactorial nature of malignancies [8-12].
Simplified Analytical Method to Evaluate the Ultimate Uplift Capacity of Squeezed Branch Piles Validated by In Situ Full-Scale Tests
Practical Applications This study proposes a simplified analytical method for calculating the uplift bearing capacity (UBC) of branches and plates, providing a practical tool for analyzing and designing squeezed branch piles. Existing approaches tend to be conservative in estimating the end bearing resistance of branches and plates, which may prevent the full utilization of their uplift potential.
B cell imprinting in children impairs antibodies to the haemagglutinin stalk
|
Abstract Immune imprinting1 or original antigenic sin2 is a phenomenon whereby the immune system preferentially recalls its initial response to a related, often evolving pathogen after subsequent exposure. Despite its important implications for vaccine development, the causes of imprinting remain unclear.

Skeletal and Dental‐Alveolar Changes With Invisalign First Expansion System in the Mixed Dentition: A Retrospective Study
1 Background Maxillary transverse deficiency is one of the most common skeletal malocclusion types in orthodontics, with a prevalence of 21% in mixed dentition patients [1-3]. It is often associated with unilateral or bilateral posterior crossbite and anterior crowding, leading to functional mandibular displacement and mandibular asymmetry, which have long-term impacts on craniofacial structure and function development [4].

A hybrid demultiplexing strategy that improves performance and robustness of cell hashing
Abstract Recent advances in single cell RNA sequencing allow users to pool multiple samples and demultiplex in downstream analysis, which greatly increase experimental efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Among all the demultiplexing methods, nucleotide barcode-based cell hashing has gained widespread popularity due to its compatibility and simplicity.
A hybrid single-cell demultiplexing strategy that increases both cell recovery rate and calling accuracy
