We introduce a nullspace-guided adaptive (NGA) bootstrap method that improves the energy lower bounds of quantum many-body ground states by refining the bootstrap basis in a dynamic and incremental way. At each iteration, the optimized moment matrix reveals a nullspace of saturated positivity directions, which is intuitively interpreted as annihilators of the approximate ground-state subspace.
Geometric-aware deep learning for deciphering tissue structure from spatially resolved transcriptomics
Abstract Recent advances in spatially resolved transcriptomics have enabled large-scale measurement of gene expression while preserving spatial context, facilitating the investigation of spatial heterogeneity within tissues. In this study, we propose SpatialGEO, a geometric-aware deep learning framework that integrates gene expression profiles with spatial coordinates to generate biologically meaningful low-dimensional embeddings, enabling the dissection of complex tissue architectures.
Universal scaling functions of the magnetic Grüneisen ratio near quantum critical points
Abstract The magnetic Grüneisen ratio, defined as Γg ≡ (1/T)(∂T/∂g)S, characterizes the magnetocaloric effect (MCE) driven by an external field g and serves as a highly sensitive probe for field-induced quantum critical points (QCPs). Near a QCP, Γg displays diverging behaviors described by a universal scaling function depending on the universality class.
Sleeve-fundoplication without gastric resection vs. sleeve gastrectomy: comparable weight loss with reduced GERD incidence in obese rats
Abstract Introduction: Sleeve gastrectomy (SG) is a first-line bariatric procedure but may exacerbate gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) symptoms in obese patients.
