Loading metrics Open Access Peer-reviewed Research Article Abstract Background Toxoplasmosis, having the significant consequences affecting mortality and quality of life, is still prevalent in various places throughout the world. The major gap in surveillance for Toxoplasma gondii infection among high-risk population, slaughterhouse workers, is an obstacle for the effective policies formulation to reduce the burden of toxoplasmosis in Myanmar.

Qualitative strand The qualitative strand explored the benefits and barriers to involvement in HPS program among high school teachers. The personal characteristics of in-depth interviewees were summarized in Table 4. School-based health literacy promotion. The majority of school teachers reported that by increasing health education activities in school, children could aware of health problems and improve their health knowledge.
