Abstract Retina-derived growth signals relayed from the choroid to the sclera cause remodeling of the extracellular scleral matrix, resulting in myopic ocular elongation. However, to the best of our knowledge, no studies have assessed changes in choroidal stromal biomechanical properties during myopia progression.
