Fine-tuning gibberellin improves rice alkali–thermal tolerance and yield - Nature
Abstract Soil alkalinization and global warming are predicted to pose major challenges to agriculture in the future, as they continue to accelerate, markedly reducing global arable land and crop yields1,2. Therefore, strategies for future agriculture are needed to further improve globally cultivated, relatively high-yielding Green Revolution varieties (GRVs) derived from the SEMIDWARF 1 (SD1) gene3,4.

JCM | Free Full-Text | Effect of Body Mass Index on the Prognostic Value of Atherogenic Index of Plasma in Patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome Undergoing Percutaneous Coronary Intervention
1. Introduction Coronary artery disease (CAD) still has high morbidity and mortality [1,2,3] worldwide, with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) being the most severe type of CAD [4,5]. Lipid metabolism, especially elevated low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C) particles, plays a role in the development of ACS. Despite reaching the recommended LDL-C level, there are still quite a few patients with recurrent adverse cardiovascular events [6,7,8].

Clear cell carcinomas of the ovary and kidney: clarity through genomics
Clear cell ovarian carcinoma (CCOC) and clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) both feature clear cytoplasm due to the accumulation of cytoplasmic glycogen. Genomic studies have demonstrated several mutational similarities between these two diseases including frequent alterations in the chromatin remodeling SWI/SNF and cellular proliferation PI3K/mTOR pathways, as well as a shared hypoxia-like mRNA expression signature.
