Editor’s summary Glioblastoma remains the most common and aggressive adult primary brain tumor with limited effective therapies. Macrophages are key players in the glioblastoma immunosuppressive microenvironment and have the ability to infiltrate these solid tumors and interact with glioma cells. Here, Sun et al. developed an adoptive cell therapy of allogeneic macrophages loaded with ferritin-drug conjugates to deliver therapeutic payloads to glioblastoma cells.
