A 42-year-old man with a history of smoking but no medical or ophthalmic history presented with a 1-year history of painless blurred vision and visual field defect in the right eye, which had acutely worsened over the past month. He reported headache and neck stiffness but denied fever, tinnitus, animal exposure, or recent travel. No lymphadenopathy or skin lesions were detected on physical examination. Visual acuity was 20/100 OD and 20/25 OS.

Abstract : Indirect ophthalmoscopy and handheld retinal imaging are the most common and traditional modalities for the evaluation and documentation of the pediatric fundus, especially for pre-verbal children. Optical coherence tomography (OCT) allows for in vivo visualization that resembles histology, and optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) allows for non-invasive depth-resolved imaging of the retinal vasculature.
