Beijing, which saw its GDP exceed 5 trillion yuan in 2025, has outlined an ambitious investment plan for 2026. Officials announced the capital city aims to achieve annual investment of over 1 trillion yuan for the first time, focusing on key sectors like integrated circuits, artificial intelligence, and commercial aerospace. The move is designed to foster new growth drivers and synergize investment with consumption.

On August 8, at the 2025 World Robot Conference, over 200 leading domestic and international robotics companies showcased more than 1,500 exhibits. Among them, nearly 20 enterprises from Beijing E-Town brought over 10 debut and pioneering products. Visitors experienced a wide range of "high-skill" exhibits up close, with many robots demonstrating through actions that cutting-edge products go beyond mere display.

In recent years, Xizang has ambitiously planned and advanced the Lhasa South-North Mountain Afforestation Project. The harsh Lhasa sunlight has etched its mark on the faces of three young workers—shown here planting Mongolian pines in the Lhalu Wetland ecological restoration zone of the project's northern section.
