To the Editor, We read with great interest the article by Vatanparast et al. on the nephroprotective effects of calebin A in diabetic nephropathy (DN)1. The study makes a compelling case for the potential of calebin A in mitigating renal damage via the modulation of oxidative stress and inflammatory pathways, particularly through Nrf2/HO-1 and NF-κB signaling. However, we have several methodological concerns that potentially threaten the validity of the conclusions.

To the Editor, We read with great interest the article by An et al.1, which profiled serum circular RNAs in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with and without diabetic retinopathy (DR) and identified hsa_circRNA_407262 as a potentially important biomarker and mechanistic candidate1. The study provides valuable exploratory data on circulating circRNAs in DR, an area of increasing clinical relevance.

To the Editor, We read with great interest the article by Sakane et al.1, which developed machine learning models to predict severe diabetes distress in adults with type 1 diabetes and identified the neural network as the best-performing approach. This work is clinically important because earlier recognition of distress could help integrate psychosocial risk stratification into routine diabetes care.
