Leveraging molten salt electrolytes, thermal batteries offer ultrahigh power output, excellent safety performance, and an ultralong shelf life. However, with the continuous advancement of modern weapon systems, conventional metal sulfide-based systems are increasingly unable to meet the demand for higher voltage and power output.
