PM2.5 exposure elevates hepatic injury in hyperlipidemic mice via ROS-pyroptosis signaling pathway
ABSTRACT Fine particulate matter (PM2.5) pollution’s harmful effects on the environment and human health have gained global attention. After entering the liver via the bloodstream, these small particles could disrupt hepatic lipid metabolism and even cause liver damage, but the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. To investigate the impact of PM2.5 on the liver and metabolism, ApoE−/− mice were used and then exposed to PM2.5 to establish a hyperlipidemic model.
