Structural and kinetic mechanisms of state-dependent potassium channel inhibition
Abstract INTRODUCTION RESULTS DISCUSSION MATERIALS AND METHODS Acknowledgments Supplementary Materials REFERENCES Information & Authors Metrics & Citations View Options References Figures Tables Media Share This article has 0 eLetter . Abstract The KCNQ1 (Kv7.1) potassium ion (K+) channel plays a critical role in cardiac repolarization, while loss- or gain-of-function mutations increase the risk of life-threatening arrythmias and sudden death.
Development and validation of a nomogram for early prognostic prediction in childhood aplastic anemia receiving cyclosporine monotherapy
Abstract The prognosis for aplastic anemia (AA) patients undergoing cyclosporine is variable; therefore, a prognostic model is needed to optimize stratified treatment strategies. This observational retrospective cohort study included patients with AA who received immunosuppressive therapy with cyclosporine. A total of 437 patients were randomly assigned to the training cohort (n = 262) or the validation cohort (n = 175) at a ratio of 6:4.

To Editor, Dedicated China pediatric HCT centers in China began performing hematopoietic cell transplantations (HCTs) in 1998, following sporadic early cases. Over the past 28 years, pediatric HCT has expanded from a nascent service to a large-scale national practice.

Molecular classification and outcomes in pediatric aplastic anemia with myeloid neoplasm-associated gene variants
Department of Hematology and Oncology, Children’s Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, National Clinical Research Center for Child Health and Disorders, Ministry of Education Key Laboratory of Child Development and Disorders, Chongqing Key Laboratory of Child Rare Diseases in Infection and Immunity, Chongqing, China Background: The genetic variations in aplastic anemia (AA) patients are closely related to clonal hematopoiesis, but there is limited research on this topic in children with AA.
Effects of compound fermentation with Limosilactobacillus fermentum HHL-5 and citric acid on wilted king grass silage
1 Introduction In recent years, the rapid expansion of ruminant farming has significantly increased the demand for roughage. The supply of high-quality roughage is essential for advancing grass-fed animal husbandry, with silage serving as a practical method to ensure year-round feed availability (1). King grass (Pennisetum purpureum × P. glaucum, KG) is a hybrid species of the Poaceae family, derived from an intergeneric cross between elephant grass (P. purpureum, 2n = 28) and pearl millet (P.

Effects of straw and plastic film mulching on microbial functional genes involved in soil nitrogen cycling
Highlights – Straw mulching increased all soil N fractions while plastic film mulching reduced MBN but increased mineral N. – The total abundance of N cycling-related functional genes increased with straw mulching but did not change with film mulching. – Straw mulching increased the abundances of functional genes in DNRA (nirB, napA, and nrfA). – Plastic film mulching decreased the abundances of functional genes in ammonification (ureC and ureA).
IL-1 Transcriptional Responses to Lipopolysaccharides Are Regulated by a Complex of RNA Binding Proteins

Sullivan J Immunol March 1, 2020, 204 (5) 1334-1344; DOI: https://doi.org/10.4049/jimmunol.1900650 Key Points Enhancer RNAs are functionally important for IL1A and IL1B mRNA transcription. MAPKs and NF-κB regulate distinct transcriptional processes.

De novo transcriptomic analysis and development of EST-SSRs for Sorbus pohuashanensis (Hance) Hedl.
Sorbus pohuashanensis is a native tree species of northern China that is used for a variety of ecological purposes. The species is often grown as an ornamental landscape tree because of its beautiful form, silver flowers in early summer, attractive pinnate leaves in summer, and red leaves and fruits in autumn. However, development and further utilization of the species are hindered by the lack of comprehensive genetic information, which impedes research into its genetics and molecular biology.
