Fluorinated thioethers, particularly aryl 3,3,3-trifluoropropyl sulfides, have emerged as important motifs in pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals due to their unique physicochemical properties, including enhanced lipophilicity, metabolic stability, and membrane permeability (1) (Figure 1A). These compounds function as critical pharmacophores in serotonin receptor agonists, estrogen receptor ligands, nuclear receptor modulators, insecticides, and antibacterial agents for plant protection.

Abstract Kangfuxin (KFX) shows potential in wound healing but its role in socket healing is unclear. This research finds increased bone mass, mineralization, and collagen deposition in KFX-treated mice. Mouse bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells, human periodontal ligament stem cells (hPDLSCs), and human dental pulp stem cells (hDPSCs) are treated with KFX under osteogenic induction.
