A Data Set for Transition Metal Catalysis For our studies, we explored the coupling of 4-trifluoromethyl-1-bromobenzene ( 1 ) with morpholine ( 2 ) as the first pair of substrates and 3-bromopyridine ( 4 ) with 4-phenylpiperidine ( 5 ) as the second substrate pair using diverse palladium, nickel, and copper catalyzed systems to yield products 3 and 6 , respectively ( Figure 2 a,d).
