1. Introduction Steel is the most widely used metal in engineering and construction, and thus, steelmaking has been an important industry in modern society. The crude steel production in the world has grown to 1885 million tons in 2022, and the average growth rate is 1.7% from 2017 to 2022 [1]. When producing steel, various byproducts (slag, sludge, dust, etc.) are generated simultaneously, depending on the steelmaking routes.
