Electrically controlled 0- π oscillations and antiferromagnetic Josephson spin valve with PT symmetry

Abstract We propose that unconventional Josephson effects can typically emerge in PT-symmetric antiferromagnetic (AFM) bilayer systems. When proximitized by a conventional superconductor, these heterostructures host dominant interlayer pairing correlation that features a distinctive spin texture enabled by the strong exchange field.

Topological altermagnetic Josephson junctions

Abstract Planar Josephson junctions are pivotal for engineering topological superconductivity, yet are severely hindered by the orbital effects induced by in-plane magnetic fields, or the stray fields introduced by the use of ferromagnets. Here, we propose the generic topological altermagnetic Josephson junctions (TAJJs) as a solution to this critical problem.
