1 Introduction Rural Veterans experience disparities in healthcare access, utilization, and outcomes compared to urban Veterans [1-3]. Geographic isolation and long travel distances increase the physical burden of accessing care, whereas limited provider availability and infrastructure constraints, such as fewer healthcare facilities and specialty services, limit the availability of local care and delay access to specialty services [4].

1. Introduction Currently, marine transportation constitutes over 90% of the global cargo transportation volume [1], playing a pivotal role in international logistics. However, coastal, port, and inland waterway areas exhibit high vessel traffic density and complex navigational scenarios [2], posing considerable challenges to safe navigation and elevating the risk of collisions [3]. Vessel traffic-management systems primarily rely on two subsystems: AIS and radar system [4].

Importance  Military sexual trauma (MST) is associated with adverse physical and mental health outcomes following military separation. Recent research suggests that MST may be a determinant in several factors associated with postdeployment homelessness. Objective  To evaluate MST as an independent risk factor for homelessness and to determine whether risk varies by sex.
