Abstract Background: Ravulizumab is a long-acting C5 complement inhibitor that provides sustained suppression of the complement pathway. It is currently approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of generalized myasthenia gravis, paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria, and atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome. With its increasing clinical use, concerns regarding Ravulizumab-associated adverse drug reactions have grown.

Biodegradation Trends of Mg and Zn Scaffolds Depend on the Localized Environment Both Mg and Zn scaffolds exhibited distinct biodegradation trends in different regions exposed to varying physiological environments. The cross-section of the scaffold in the longitudinal plane revealed that more degradation products formed in the scaffold region exposed to the bone marrow cavity than to the bone tissue.
