1 Introduction Nuclear energy is widely used in nuclear power plants, medical, and military applications. However, high-energy photons (x/γ-rays) can seriously damage health. It is therefore imperative that individuals engaged in professional activities within nuclear environments are equipped with radiation protection products (RPP) [1]. Traditional RPPs are primarily lead aprons.
