AIGC-driven contemporary translation of Miao embroidery patterns under cultural gene constraints

Abstract To modernise Miao embroidery, this paper proposes an intelligent collaborative design method integrating cultural gene theory, grounded theory, shape grammar, and entropy-weighted TOPSIS. The approach transforms Miao embroidery into cultural data, facilitating the transformation of cultural elements into design languages. Based on cultural gene theory, a pattern library is constructed, and derivative patterns are generated using shape grammar.
