Neuropeptide Y: a novel sympathetic neurotransmitter in arrhythmic promotion

We have read a paper with great interest written by Stadiotti and colleagues concerning “neuropeptide Y (NPY) and arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy”. In this paper, they found that NYP promotes arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy remodeling via increasing adipogenesis []. And then, a letter to the editor written by Zhang et al. demonstrated that NPY contributed to the cardiac remodeling and provided some evidence of its potential mechanisms [].
