1 Introduction Mango (Mangifera indica L.), as the second most traded tropical fruit globally, is highly favored by consumers for its attractive color and unique flavor. However, it is important to note that mango is a climacteric fruit, and it is highly susceptible to rotting due to improper maturation processes, environmental conditions, and postharvest handling, resulting in significant economic losses (Li et al. 2023).
