1 Introduction Data assimilation (DA) is a critical methodology that integrates observational data with numerical model outputs to produce more accurate estimates of system states, thereby enhancing the predictive capabilities of dynamic systems (Kalnay, 2002). By optimally adjusting model states based on observations, DA improves state estimation in applications such as meteorology, oceanography, and climate modeling.
