1. Introduction According to the sixth assessment report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), human activities lead to significant changes in global and regional climate [1]. Most of these changes are in the direction expected with warming temperature [2]. However, an intensified hydrological cycle with global warming is expected to increase the intensity and frequency of extreme precipitation events [3].
