1 INTRODUCTION Chronic pain and anxiety are highly comorbid.1, 2 Epidemiological studies show that 44%–70% of chronic pain patients have long-term anxiety symptoms.3-5 Long-term anxiety can exacerbate pain, which in turn causes more serious anxiodepressive disorders.2, 6, 7 The prevention and treatment of chronic pain-induced anxiety is an important clinical issue that urgently needs to be solved.
