1. Introduction Integrated energy systems (IESs), which couple multiple energy sources, have become critical in promoting clean energy consumption, decarbonization, and emission reduction. These systems exemplify the shift from centralized to distributed energy systems, integrating various energy participants, adopting intermittent renewable energy sources, and dynamically balancing energy supply and demand.
