1 Introduction The incidence of pancreatic cancer (PC) is increasing and the mortality rate of PC is high [1]. Surgical resection could be only applied in less than 20% of patients with PC [2]. The pathogenesis of PC is unclear and the effective targets are lack. Thus, PC therapy is unsatisfied. Ceramide kinase like protein (CERKL) is highly identical to ceramide kinase (CERK) in amino acid sequences [3]. However, the activities of these two enzymes are different.
