1 Introduction Acetaminophen (APAP) is a widely used nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) around the world. Although it has positive antipyretic and analgesic effects, its drug dependence and liver injury or even liver failure caused by overdose remain a major problem we are facing [1]. APAP generates the active metabolite N-acetyl-p-benzoquinone imine (NAPQI) via cytochrome P450 (CYP450) [2].
