A chromosomal-level genome assembly of Ruditapes philippinarum

Abstract Ruditapes philippinarum is a commercially significant marine bivalve species that inhabits estuarine and intertidal mudflat areas. To investigate the molecular basis behind the germplasm degradation and mixed genetic backgrounds, we sequenced the R. philippinarum genome. Based on 89.11 Gb (~60x) long-reads of PacBio platform sequencing data, we assembled 1481.33 Mb (contig N50 = 23.44 Mb) for R. philippinarum genome.
