According to United Nations statistics, the proportion of PMW in the total female population was 20% in 2021, compared to 13.75% in 1990 [22]. In both 2021 and 1990, the burden of MSDs among PMW was proportionally higher than the share of PMW in the total female population. RA, OA, and gout all exceeded 50%, demonstrating a clear postmenopausal predisposition.
