Ultrafast electron diffraction with MeV electron source from a laser wakefield accelerator
Abstract MeV ultrafast electron diffraction (UED) is a widely used technique for ultrafast structural dynamics studies of matter in numerous areas. The development of the laser wakefield accelerator (LWFA) shows great potential for an advanced all-optical electron source based on LWFA in UED applications. Here we experimentally demonstrated that an LWFA-based device with a miniaturized permanent magnet beamline can generate and manipulate electron beams suitable for UED.
Digital case-library and dual-mentor teaching for medical laboratory science internships in China: a historical comparison educational evaluation
Abstract Background: Medical laboratory science internships often rely on fragmented rotation-based placements, limiting opportunities to connect laboratory results with clinical decision-making, quality-control reasoning and communication with clinicians. We evaluated the feasibility, acceptability and associated outcomes of a digital case-library-based dual-mentor teaching model.

Characteristic Study of a Typical Satellite Solar Panel under Mechanical Vibrations
1. Introduction As one of the most significant parts of renewable energy, solar energy has become a hotspot for research worldwide in recent years due to its sustainability and universality. Photovoltaic (PV) systems, which convert the light energy of the sun into electrical energy, represent the most common application of solar power [1]. For example, large-scale solar power plants and rooftop solar panels are now a common sight.
Electromagnetic Characterization of Permanent Magnet Eddy Current Structures Based on Backplane Distance Adjustment
1. Introduction The internal spraying system of mining anchor-digging equipment is a technical device used for adsorbing and settling dust on the underground mining face, reducing the temperature of the cutting teeth, and eliminating sparks, with the effect of improving the visibility of the working face, improving the working environment, and increasing the service life of the equipment. Because of its need to cut coal rock, its working speed is generally around 20–50 rpm.
Efficient generation and amplification of intense vortex and vector laser pulses via strongly-coupled stimulated Brillouin scattering in plasmas - Communications Physics
Abstract The past decade has seen tremendous progress in the production and utilization of vortex and vector laser pulses. Although both are considered as structured light beams, the vortex lasers have helical phase fronts and phase singularities, while the vector lasers have spatially variable polarization states and polarization singularities.

Probing strong-field QED in beam-plasma collisions - Communications Physics
Abstract Ongoing progress in laser and accelerator technology opens new possibilities in high-field science, notably to investigate the largely unexplored strong-field quantum electrodynamics (SFQED) regime where electron-positron pairs can be created directly from light-matter or even light-vacuum interactions. Laserless strategies such as beam-beam collisions have also been proposed to access the nonperturbative limit of SFQED.
Linearization of an Electron Beam's Longitudinal Phase Space Using a Hollow-Channel Plasma
Abstract The removal of undesired beam nonlinear energy chirp (time-energy correlation) or linearization of the beam longitudinal phase space (LPS) is crucial for high-brightness linac-based scientific applications, such as x-ray free-electron lasers. In this paper, we propose that a low-density hollow channel plasma can be used as a near-ideal passive linearizer to significantly linearize the beam LPS and, at the same time, preserve the beam emittance.
Efficient generation of tunable magnetic and optical vortices using plasmas
Abstract Plasma is an attractive medium for generating strong microscopic magnetic structures and tunable electromagnetic radiation with predictable topologies due to its extraordinary ability to sustain and manipulate high currents and strong fields.
High-throughput injection-acceleration of electron bunches from a linear accelerator to a laser wakefield accelerator
Abstract Plasma-based accelerators driven by either intense lasers1 or charged particle beams2 can accelerate electrons or positrons with extremely high gradients compared with conventional radio-frequency accelerators. For their use as next-generation light sources and in energy frontier colliders3, beams with good stability, high quality, controllable polarization and excellent reproducibility4,5 are required.
