Morphology-guided trihybridized metamaterials for dual-band acoustic attenuation and aerodynamic pressure relief
Abstract Confined transit hubs require acoustic barriers that reduce broadband noise while preserving ventilation and pressure relief. Here we show a morphology-guided trihybridized acoustic metamaterial that integrates a central micro-perforated panel (MPP), peripheral space-coiling Helmholtz resonators (HRs), and central–peripheral dual-tension membranes.

Chaotic Vibration and Perforation Effects on the Sound Absorption of a Nonlinear Curved Panel Absorber
Abstract : This study is the first to investigate the effect of chaotic vibration on the sound absorption of a curved perforated panel. Previous studies on the effect of nonlinear vibration on the sound absorption of a panel absorber have focused on periodic responses only. In this study, a sound absorption formula was derived by considering the panel impedance and perforation impedance.
