2. Materials and Methods 2.1. Research Site This study selected the Chengdu Outer Ring Ecological Zone (hereinafter referred as ‘the Zone’) as the research site, which is defined within 500 m on both sides of the Chengdu Outer Ring Road. The Zone covers an area of about 187.2 square km containing various land uses, such as green spaces, transportation, residences, commerce, and farmland.
