1 INTRODUCTION Imagine you are a Human Resource (HR) manager who has to choose between two candidates. Your decision-making process involves evaluating the candidates based on their scores on various tests, some of which may be biased, such as interviews and aptitude tests. Would you be open to relying on algorithms or on human advice to correct the potential bias? The current research aims to answer this question. It is not uncommon for people to base their decisions on imperfect information.
