Surgical technique for correction of sagittal translation using V-shaped rod repositioning and lifting reduction in ankylosing spondylitis kyphosis
Abstract A total of 29 patients with severe kyphosis deformity secondary to ankylosing spondylitis underwent posterior spinal osteotomy from October 2017 to April 2023, with intraoperative ST occurring in 7 cases.
A physics-guided neural network framework for special segment section prediction and automated preliminary design of special truss moment frames
Abstract Special truss moment frames are ductile steel structural systems with excellent energy dissipation capacity. Their design follows the capacity design principle, in which members outside the special segment remain essentially elastic while plastic deformation is concentrated within the special segment through chord-member yielding.

Unveiling the Roles of Aromaticity on Optoelectronic and Charge-Transport Properties of Dehydrobenzo[n]annulenes
Unveiling the Roles of Aromaticity on Optoelectronic and Charge-Transport Properties of Dehydrobenzo[n]annulenes Dehydrobenzo[n]annulenes ([n]DBA) are a family of π-conjugated shape-persistent macrocycles, whose properties are governed by both their arylene groups and alkynylene linkages. While diverse members of [n]DBAs have been extensively studied, the triacetylene-bridged [24]DBA, a missing member, remained elusive.

Improved peracetic acid activation under simulated solar-light irradiation by regulating shells of Cu2O: In-situ photothermal activation
Recently, advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) based on peracetic acid (PAA, CH3C(O)OOH) activation have received increasing attention due to their effective degradation and removal of emerging contaminants [1], [2]. PAA is a green oxidant and disinfectant that is widely used in water purification and health protection [3], [4]. Compared with traditional chlorine disinfectants, PAA has the advantages of more extensive sterilization and the production of less toxic by-products [5].
A flexible electrode Array for genetic transfection of different layers of the retina by electroporation
A flexible electrode Array for genetic transfection of different layers of the retina by electroporation† Electroporation (in which the permeability of a cell membrane is increased transiently by exposure to an appropriate electric field) has exhibited great potential of becoming an alternative to adeno-associated virus (AAV)-based retina gene delivery. Electroporation eliminates the safety concerns of employing exogenous viruses and exceeds the limit of AAV cargo size.
Reversible Hydrogen Spillover at Atomic Interface for Efficient Alkaline Hydrogen Evolution
Reversible Hydrogen Spillover at Atomic Interface for Efficient Alkaline Hydrogen Evolution Ruthenium-based electrocatalysts exhibit promising potential as alternatives to platinum for catalyzing the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) in alkaline media. However, Ru catalysts require further optimization for their hydrogen binding ability and face challenges with sluggish kinetics of water dissociation.

Carboxylic acids and metal ions co-driven assembly of triene coordination polymers for [2+2] photocycloaddition
Carboxylic acids and metal ions co-driven assembly of triene coordination polymers for [2+2] photocycloaddition Xin-Ran Xue, Cao Chen, Yu Ge, Qiu-Yi Li, Min-Jie Zhang, Qi Liu and Jian-Ping Lang Abstract The application of coordination polymers (CPs) as a platform to control the arrangement of olefin-containing ligands to produce cyclobutane derivatives by [2+2] photocycloaddition reactions is a highly regional selective and stereoselective approach.
Reversible Single-Crystal-to-Single-Crystal Transformations between Nanoscale 2D Nanosheets and 3D Metal-Organic Frameworks
Single-crystal-to-single-crystal (SCSC) transformations provide more possibilities for phase transitions, which have attracted great attention in crystal engineering. In this paper, we report a series of reversible SCSC transformations between nanoscale two-dimensional layered double hydroxide (LDH) crystals and three-dimensional metal–organic framework crystals. They can proceed not only in solution systems but also on the surface of solid-state polyacrylonitrile films and fibers.

Effects of Different Altitudes on Coffea arabica Rhizospheric Soil Chemical Properties and Soil Microbiota
Abstract : Coffee is one of the most valuable agricultural commodities worldwide, second only to oil in terms of international trade. Coffea arabica L. is a widely cultivated and economically important crop that is responsible for about 90% of the global production of coffee. In this study, we selected five C. arabica cultivation sites at different altitudes to clarify the effects of altitude on rhizospheric soil physical–chemical characteristics and microbial communities.

Enhanced energy barriers triggered by magnetic anisotropy modulation via tuning the functional groups on the bridging ligands in Dy2 single-molecule magnets
Two dinuclear dysprosium complexes of formulae [Dy2(L1)2(NO3)2(MeOH)2]·2MeOH (1) and Dy2(L2)2(NO3)2(MeOH)2 (2), (H2L1 = 4-chloro-2-(((2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzyl)imino)methyl)phenol, H2L2 = 2-(((2-hydroxybenzylidene)amino)methyl)-6-methoxyphenol) have been synthesized under solvothermal conditions. The two ligands differ in the substituents at the phenol moieties of the ligands.
