Abstract Integrated nonreciprocal polarization control is essential for optical isolators and circulators that suppress back-reflection in photonic integrated circuits. In this study, we propose and experimentally demonstrate a hybrid-integrated metasurface-based nonreciprocal polarization rotator (MNPR) consisting of a metalens (ML), a magnet-free Faraday rotator (MFFR), and a bifunctional metasurface (BFMS).
We propose a single-layer quadratic phase-transmissive metasurface (MS) that enables continuous wavelength-controlled lateral focus scanning under oblique incidence. By employing a laterally translated quadratic phase profile, the focal spot of obliquely incident light is positioned on the optical axis of the MS at the designed center incident wavelength. As the incident wavelength varies, the focal position shifts laterally on the focal plane.

1 Introduction Simulating spatial interactions between bodies and their dynamic responses on contact surfaces is the aim of the contact-impact problem. This type of analysis specifically focuses on the localized effects on the contact surfaces rather than on the entire body. In the finite element method, the implementation of the contact-impact involves the application of specific constraint methods.
