1 Introduction Metal–organic framework (MOF) derived carbon materials have emerged as competitive electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) in proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) or metal-air/O2 batteries, thanks to their high porosity, adjustable compositions, and structural features inherited from MOF precursors [1-3]. These features support efficient mass transport channels and rich active sites, showing potential to replace commercial Pt-based catalysts [4-6].
