Abstract Walnut (Juglans regia L.) is one of the most economically important tree nuts worldwide due to its nutritional and health-promoting properties. The use of plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) in agriculture is increasing attention as a sustainable alternative to intensively used chemical inputs; however, their application to walnut seedlings and their effects on changes in plant hormones, antioxidant enzyme activities and biochemical metabolites are not yet fully understood.

Abstract This study was conducted to determine the morphometric characteristics, mineral composition, and bioactive compound richness of the leaves of wild pear (Pyrus elaeagnifolia) genotypes naturally occurring in the Central Anatolia region and of commonly cultivated pear (Pyrus communis L.) varieties. To the best of our knowledge, the biochemical and mineral composition of the leaves of P. elaeagnifolia, a species endemic to Anatolia, has not been fully characterized.

Abstract This study investigated the antioxidant capacity, biochemical composition, nutrient content, and morphological traits of 21 mulberry genotypes grown under the same ecological conditions in Türkiye. These genotypes, representing Morus alba, M. nigra, M. rubra, and unidentified species, were cultivated to evaluate their genetic diversity and potential for functional applications.
