Nitrogen deposition modulates reactive carbon exchange between the biosphere and atmosphere
Abstract Anthropogenic nitrogen deposition influences terrestrial carbon storage, but its role in regulating plant biogenic volatile organic compound emissions and thus biosphere-atmosphere reactive carbon exchange remains unclear. Here we compile 885 observations spanning nine plant functional types and find that nitrogen addition significantly increases emissions of isoprene, monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes by 52%, 39% and 107%, respectively.
Heatwaves favour acyclic monoterpene emissions in tropical forests
Abstract Heatwaves perturb plant physiology and monoterpene emissions, with important consequences for atmospheric chemistry and climate. Acyclic and cyclic monoterpenes differ markedly in their chemical reactivity, biosynthetic pathways, physiological functions, and atmospheric impacts, yet their heatwave responses remain poorly quantified, and current emission models generally assign them similar temperature sensitivities.

Antigen spreading mediates heterogeneous solid tumor eradication by DNA demethylating agent–programmed CAR T cells
Abstract Antigen heterogeneity substantially limits the efficacy of chimeric antigen receptor–modified T (CAR T) cell therapy against solid tumors. Our study highlights the potent antitumor activity of low-dose decitabine-primed CAR T (dCAR T) cells in solid tumor models, a benefit previously confirmed in hematologic malignancies.

Demethylation-primed tandem CD19/CD20 CAR T cells in relapsed/refractory B-cell lymphoma: a phase I/II trial
Abstract Despite the success of CAR T therapy in non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL), recurrence remains challenging. Previously, we showed that ex vivo priming with decitabine (DAC) enhances CAR T persistence and efficacy. Here, we report on an open-label non-randomised phase I/II trial (NCT04697940) evaluating DAC-primed CD19/CD20 dual-targeted CAR T cells (dCAR T) in 23 patients with relapsed or refractory NHL.
DUSP6 ablation restores CAR T-cell fitness impaired by tumor CD58 loss through invigoration of AP-1 signaling
Abstract Primary resistance to chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapies has limited their widespread application. Our prior genome-wide CRISPR/Cas9 screening revealed that the loss of CD58, a crucial intrinsic resistance factor in tumors, resulted in insufficient immune synapse formation and impaired CAR T-cell activation and cytotoxicity. However, the specific signaling pathway and transcriptional changes associated with CAR T-cell dysfunction have not been addressed.

Oronasal mucosal melanoma is defined by two transcriptional subtypes in humans and dogs with implications for diagnosis and therapy
Introduction Mucosal melanoma (MM) is a rare and aggressive form of melanoma arising from melanocytes in sun-protected mucosal surfaces, including oral, nasal, genital, and anorectal regions [1]. Despite accounting for a minority (1.4%) of melanoma cases, MM carries a disproportionately higher morbidity and mortality risk than cutaneous melanoma (CM) [2]. MM is often diagnosed at an advanced stage, exhibits a higher likelihood of metastasis [3, 4], and a reduced 5-year survival [3, 5-7].

Inosine enhances the efficacy of immune‐checkpoint inhibitors in advanced solid tumors: A randomized, controlled, Phase 2 study
1 BACKGROUND Immune-checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs), as a novel tumor therapy, have led to breakthroughs in the treatment of malignant solid tumors.1-4 However, there is heterogeneity in the therapeutic response to ICIs. In clinical practice, PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors are the predominant ICIs, with objective response rates (ORR) of 10%–30%,5-18 despite primary ICI resistance in some patients.19 Population-level screening for ascertaining the benefits of ICI and overcoming resistance involves...

ALDH1A3-acetaldehyde re-wires neural crest stem cell and high metabolism states to potentiate melanoma heterogeneity
Abstract Cancer cellular heterogeneity and therapy resistance arise from metabolic and transcriptional adaptations, but how these are interconnected is less well understood. Here, we show that in melanoma, the cancer stem cell marker aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A3 (ALDH1A3) forms an enzymatic partnership with acetyl-CoA synthetase 2 (ACSS2) in the nucleus to couple high glucose metabolic flux with acetyl histone H3 modification of neural crest lineage and glucose metabolism genes.

Set PpvA = 1 pu, PpvB = 0.3 pu (The capacity of PV station integrated into 13.8 kV node can’t be too large). Set the current load multiple of the whole system lm = 1 pu.
