When we first interviewed former Denver Bronco standout Brandon Stokley and Zach Bye, collectively known as 104.3 The Fan's Stokley and Zach, as part of our ongoing series of Q&As with Denver's most interesting media personalities, we did so for the simplest reason: They're the best, freshest, most entertaining sports-talk team on the Mile High City airwaves right now. Little did we realize at the time that life as we knew it, including the sports world, was about to undergo a radical shift.

Most of the predictions from national media members have been pretty dire, with the NFL Network’s Adam Rank leading the charge by picking Denver to finish an abysmal 2-14. Meanwhile, the local media tends to be a little more optimistic, influenced by the inside knowledge that comes from seeing the team on a daily basis. Which group is right – the naysayers or the optimists?
