I have not! I'm a fast typist with a keyboard though, even though I never evolved past the "two-finger peck" method.
How is social media changing news?
Even the most serious outlets have to focus on headlines that draw clicks... an interesting battle between honesty and clickbait.

Clark Kent
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
I'm a believer in Google Drive but am familiar with Microsoft Office, WordPress, and Chartbeat.
What's your favorite social network?
Twitter has become my go-to. It is a great tool for journalism aside from being a great social network.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I just put out a great story with the Council on Foreign Relations on the Delta variant, a very important story for our time.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Start in high school or college!
When's the best time to pitch you?
I always make sure to check my email in the morning when I wake up.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
Sometimes there is a struggle to get good pitches in at U.Va, but I can't remember a bad one - almost anything can be interesting.
What's your favorite drink?
Non-alcoholic? Water... seriously. Alcoholic, I'm a sucker for rum and coke.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
I'm often at the pool, where I coach swim lessons.

Student life at a university is very entangled with community matters, more than one might think.
