Zack Barowitz and Winston Lumpkins IV live in Portland. In recent weeks Portland has suffered a pedestrian crash on Riverside Street, a bicycle crash on Park Avenue (both requiring hospitalization) and a fatal pedestrian crash on Franklin Arterial; that crash was the fifth death on our streets in 12 months. By contrast, Boston has, in the same time (November 2024-November 2025), six pedestrian deaths by car.

Making a Better World Hey, folks! So this month I’ve got some stuff to help you a bit if you’re with me in making this world a better place.
